The Organization

BR Nahata Smriti Sansthan was created in the memory of late BR Nahata in the year 1984 under the chairmanship of Shri Raj Mal Khabia , his companion all thru his life.

 
The organization continued to conduct many social activities till 1994 when for the first time it was thought that education being one of the most dearest subjects of him, Sansthan should set up colleges and transform the society of Malwa region .BR Nahata College of Pharmacy was set up in June 1994 .
 
The organization kept on expanding and running institutions in the fields of pharmacy, engineering, management, General education, teachers’ education, etc. The promoters of Sansthan also promoted an urban co op bank in the name of Smriti Nagrik Sahkari Bank adjudged A category bank by Reserve Bank Of India and Government of Madhya Pradesh.

  Dr V B Gupta (M Pharm, Ph D): An alumnus of Sagar University and JNV University, Dr Gupta has earlier served at L M College of Science & Technology, Himalaya Drug Company, Banner Pharmacaps & Auburn University. Widely traveled, Dr Gupta has diverse interests and is currently promoting entrepreneurship amongst the faculty and students.
Director at BRNCP, he is a PhD guide for RGPV & JNU, Editor for AJP & IJGP, and Coordinator for TIFAC-CORE.

Prof. Dr. Ram Gopal, Director(Administrative/ R& D), is a former Director DRDO and Defence Scientist of repute,  Who has contributed in development of patents and new technologies introduced in armed force and civil sector. Former colleague of Honourable Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Ex-President of India, Prof Gopal has won prestigious awards like hari Om Ashram SS Bhatnagar Award Shakti(1998) for Pokaran Explosion, WHO Fellowship DRDO Awards among others. As Chairman, BRNSS Research Council, He is coordinating R&D activities of BRNSS group of institutions.

Prof (Dr.) B S Prabhu, FNAE, is a former Professor, IIT Chennai, and former Director of MIT, Manipal. Dr. Prabhu, a scholar of international standing, has published more than 150 research papers in national and international journals, and is on referee board of international journals.

Prof. Sheela Krishnaswami received her BE (Honours) in ECE from University of Madras, ME in Applied Electronics from Anna University and Research degree MEng from National University of Singapore.  She has gained extensive R&D experience in the areas of RF/Microwave circuits and EMI/EMC. In the past 27 years she has worked for ISRO, SAMEER, Tait Electronics in New Zealand, Lucent Technologies and Andrew Corp. in USA and C-DOT Alcatel Lucent Research Center and has served as Professor-ECE at Saranathan College of Engineering, Trichy, Meenakshi College of Engineering, Chennai and MIT, Mandsaur.She visits MIT, Mandsaur periodically to give lectures.

Prof Dr. B.C.R. Mohnani Dean (Academics) is a former Assistant Commissioner N.V.S Ministry of HRD Govt. of India. He is M.Sc.(Mathematics), Gold Medallist in M.Ed. and Ph.D. in Education. An education of repute, famous for his innovative ideas of  “Learning with joy & teaching with happiness”.

Dr.A.K.Nayak earned M.Sc from University of Mysore and Ph.D in Nuclear Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Later he worked as Senior Scientific Officer in DST sponsored projects in the Department of Physics at IIT Kanpur and has gained extensive experience in various Accelerator based ion beam microanalysis techniques. He has been with MIT Mandsaur since November 2004.

Dr. Manish K Pandit (M.Sc.;M.Phil.;Ph.D) Ph.D, Research Scholar, School of Studies in Zoology & Biotechnology of Vikram University Ujjain (M.P). Worked in the field of Free Radical Biology, Antioxidant and Natural Plant Products. Pursued M.Sc. in Zoology with Biochemistry as Specialization and secured University Merit Position. Working with Mandsaur Institute of Science & Technology,Mandsaur since 2006.
